Position #2: Senior Image Development and SCCM Deployment Consultant

Location: San Diego, CA

Start Date: Estimated 8/16/10

Duration: 8 weeks with 3 month extension expected Job Description:

Senior level Microsoft consultant required to lead consolidation of multiple XP images into a Windows 7 hardware independent image leveraging MDT 2010 as part of an overall Windows 7 migration initiative. Initial 8 weeks will be focused on assessment, planning, development and testing of the Windows 7 image and the image deployment process leveraging MDT and SCCM for a Proof of Concept Pilot.

Required Skills:

* 3+ years experience in the following:

o Windows image development, including Windows 7 image development using MDT 2010

o Windows Vista/7 Deployment utilizing Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

o Experience with utilizing Microsoft SCCM/OSD for image/application deployment

o Experience with automated deployment methodologies (e.g., Lite-touch, Zero Touch) and application packaging / distribution

Additional experience/tasks for this position:

* MCSE / MCITP / MCP certifications

* Superior customer facing and technical skills

* Assessment of customer's environment prior to migration

* Contribution to project plan development

* Development of test plans

* Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations and effectively demonstrate products and solutions
