SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
This Security Analyst is responsible for the monitoring, deployment, and support of security infrastructure devices and other security solutions globally. This individual will support multiple security related projects and technologies, interfacing with others within the IT organization as well as other internal business units and external customers/partners. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in multiple disciplines (Security, Windows, UNIX, and network) to support global solutions for a complex heterogeneous environment. This individual must display an understanding of new trends and technologies related to IT Security and Compliance. This individual will also be responsible for service delivery and support of Security processes and technologies including but not limited to: Local Traffic Managers, Global Traffic Managers, Load Balancers, CheckPoint Managemet Console Server, Antivirus, Juniper Firewalls and rules, and monitoring tools to support these.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Functional Expertise
• Responsible for the support of CheckPoint and Juniper firewalls, load balancers, local and global traffic managers, Antivirus, and Security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure components (servers, storage, data/voice communications, etc) and how they are combined to provide secure IT solutions
• Security expertise including Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, Remote Access, and Vulnerability Management.
• Ability to understand the risk-based design reviews and analysis throughout the enterprise life cycle for support of the Security infrastructure.
• Project resource skills – ability to work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP
• Firm understanding of encryption technologies: IPSec, SSL, certificates, and public/private key.
• Comply and provide input to information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Conducts all tasks in accordance with the requirement to comply with security controls.

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues in technologies or process deficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent degree.
CCSA, CCSP, Security + desired
Other Technical Certifications considered
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
